Well that was unusual. Talking about the last bout of the day, Kirishima vs. Midorifuji, if you haven’t seen it. The unusual situation provided some great drama, though, and a very thrilling match.
As the Nagoya moves over the half-way bout there is still a lot in the air. Multiple wrestlers are tied with winning records and with Terunofuji out and Kirishima too injured to mount a serious yusho challenge, it’s still looking like we could get a surprising and unheralded winner of this thing. That being said, there are still some elite upper-rankers in the running.
